Bruce Lee named as first keynote speaker for March FinTech Innovation Assembly

12.14.17 — The first keynote speaker for next Spring’s FinTech Innovation Assembly has been announced, with Bruce Lee, SEVP Operations & Technology, Fannie Mae set to take to the stage at the Gala Dinner on day one of the event.

Bruce will compare today’s IT transformation to the old Irish joke, when a lost traveler asks for directions to receive the answer, “if you want to get there, I wouldn’t start from here.” IT transformations can be a lot like that, having a good sense of the destination, but not always so sure of where we are starting from.

Bruce can call on over 20 years experience in senior technology roles to assert that without this grounding almost all IT journeys usually struggle or fail. Using examples from the New York Stock exchange, HSBC and Fannie Mae, he will examine this challenge that CIOs face and how innovation challenges play into this.

The first FinTech Innovation Assembly of 2018 will take place at the Ritz-Carlton, Fort Lauderdale, 19 – 21 March 2018. For more information on how to attend please contact [email protected]
